    Hi Vienna,

    eLIcenser issue: I have a "deactivated Soft-eLicenser" which I cant remove after buying new MAC.

    Bought a new MAC computer. Transferred Apps, Setting etc from "Time Machine".

    Everything worx great, but I guess I had some old "Soft-elicenser" demo in my License control center. And I get an annoying error message everytime I launch anything that requires eLicenser keys. The "Remove License" option is greyed out for this "Soft-eLicenser"

    I tried de-installing / re-installing  "eLicense Control Center" but that didn't work....Obviously some sort of file is still buried the prefs or god knows where, that is messing me up. eLicense has NO SUPPORT....

    I could use some help.

    I´ll see what I can do for you.We have nothing to do with soft eLicensers but I´m sure that I can find a solution (did you try to google this?).

  • eLicenser support is provided by Steinberg. Send a support ticket from their Website.

  • Hi again,

    Please procced as follows:

    1) If there are still licenses on the soft eLicenser, please transfer them to your USB eLicenser.

    2) then erase the file "SeLicenser.sel" manually. It can be found here: /Library/Application Support/Syncrosoft Soft-eLicenser/

  • Where is the SeLicenser.sel file located on a PC? I have the same problem.

    The file: SeLicenser.sel is located in "C:\ProgramData\Syncrosoft\" 

    ( the "ProgramData" - folder is a hidden system folder, make sure that you see it: Organize => Folder and Search Options => "View" Tab)
