We’re thrilled to support the new season of Score – The Podcast!
In this season’s first and second episodes, hosts Kenny Holmes and Matt Schrader chat with composers Benjamin Wallfisch and Volker Bertelmann, who have recorded some of their incredible scores at our very own Vienna Synchron Stage.
All “SYNCHRON-ized” libraries have been renamed to “Studio Series” libraries.
With the transition of the now discontinued VI Series libraries to the Vienna Synchron Player almost complete (Brass and Jazz Drums will follow very soon), we’d like to make the distinction between ambient recordings (SYNCHRON) and relatively dry recordings (STUDIO) very clear. You will now find all the pianos recorded in Stage B of Vienna Synchron Stage in our Studio Series, along with all the instruments of the former “SYNCHRON-ized” Libraries that were captured in the relatively dry environment of our second studio, the Silent Stage. E.g., what was up to now SYNCHRON-ized Orchestral Strings, is now Studio Orchestral Strings.
Just as a reminder: Synchron Series libraries were recorded in the large Stage A of Vienna Synchron Stage using a multi-microphone setup. All instruments and ensembles are positioned at their usual spots on stage, distributed across the stereo field (or in surround and immersive formats) according to standard orchestra seating.
