The sensuous timbre of the saxophone plays a crucial part across genre boundaries from jazz to pop to symphonic works and has made this instrument a mainstay in both the charts as well as in the public consciousness. There’s just something about its signature sound that fits seamlessly across styles, from moody modal explorations of atonality to pumping rock and the silkiest power ballads. This meticulously crafted collection of extensively sampled saxophones is not only just as versatile but is also giant steps ahead in terms of ease of usability and tweakability. Whether you need the tight ambience of a dry stage or a reverberated sound, this library delivers all the warm and rich sax tones you could ever need.

Virtuoso sax player Robert Bernhard played his Selmer Mark VI series instruments (reissues of the famous vintage saxes of the Sixties) in the tight and controlled ambience of our second studio, the Silent Stage. He has profound experience in orchestral music, as well as in jazz, funk, and blues. His nuanced performances exploit the entire range of the instruments, from sensitive to aggressive, from whispering to screaming.
