Virtuosic Viennese Voices

While Vienna, the City of Music, is renowned worldwide for its signature string sound and general musical excellence, it’s also celebrated for its virtuosic choirs that fill the country’s legendary venues, from opera houses to churches. With Studio Vienna Choir, we’ve captured the essence of what makes these world-class voices so extraordinary and sought-after. This versatile and easy-to-use collection showcases the remarkable talent of top-notch singers working together in perfect harmony. The fully customizable ensembles which can be placed in any acoustical environment also show the genre-bending flexibility that a group of vocal virtuosos can bring to any musical or cinematic context. It’s a celebration of the human voice and its capabilities.

Overview

  • Exceptional voices

  • Pristine-sounding ensembles of sopranos, altos, tenors, basses

  • Authentic Viennese choir sound

  • Incredible flexibility with a multitude of dry and reverb options

  • Easy placement of the ensembles in any virtual acoustic environment

  • Production-ready sound “out of the box”.

  • The ensembles of sopranos, altos, tenors and basses were recorded in our second studio, the Silent Stage, a recording facility with a tight, controlled ambience specifically designed and built for recording samples.

Using the Synchron Player’s reverberation and placement presets you can put each ensemble at its perfect spot in the large hall of our own scoring stage, Synchron Stage Vienna, with options such as close, classic, and distant. But these ensembles are much more flexible. By turning off the internal convolution and algorithmic reverb of the Vienna Synchron Player the singers can be placed in any virtual acoustic environment, from dry closets to cathedrals. This collection is a dream for tweakers searching for that perfect choir sound. In addition you’ll find a variety of FX presets in the Mixer Preset menu of the Synchron Player.
