There are a few pitfalls in Vienna Instruments PRO... This section lists the questions that popped up often during Beta-Testing.
Q: Why don't I hear the delays set in the Humanize Area/Section?
A: Most probably because the global delay slider in the Perform Tab of the Advanced View is set to "0" by default. Please move this slider to hear the delays.
Q: Why don't I hear the patches in the "b" area of the slot rack?
A: The Slot Xfade Slider in the Perform Tab in the Advanced View is the key to this:
When the Slot Xfade Button between the "a" and "b" slots in the slot rack is not activated , the Slot Xfade Slider in the Perform Tab in the Advanced View controls the volume of the "b" slots.
When the Slot Xfade Button is activated, the Slot Xfade Slider crossfades between two slots.
Q: Why doesn't the load progress bar show up right away when I load the first patch of an instrument?A: When loading the first patch of every Vienna Instruments Collection, a quick license check is performed. All the next patches from this Vienna Instruments Collection will load right away after this initial quick-check.
