Find all Master Settings for each Vienna Instruments instance in this tab.
Pitch range: Click-drag to set the master pitch bend range (as controlled by the Perform tab > Pitch Bend slider).
A4 Master Tune: Click-drag to set the master A4 tuning frequency.
Pan Law:
- Determines how the signal level in the slot rack mixer is affected by panning. Without compensation, the combined loudness of the left and the right signal will be higher if a channel is panned to the center than if it is panned to one side. Pan Law allows for attenuation of the signal when panned to the center.
- The optimum value depends on the input source. Default = -3 dB
- Matrix CC:
- Sets Control Change number reserved for matrix switching.
- Please note that a selected value here will disable usage of selected control change number for other purposes.
- Sync Matrix:
- ON: Enables synchronization of cell position when switching between Matrices of the same size (they need to contain the same material as well)
- ON + Ctl: Enables additional synchronization of all matrix controls between matrices.
- Sync Mixer:
- No sync: Mixer only affects the selected cell
- Sync (green): The slot mixer for all cells in the Vienna Instruments instance is globally synchronized.
- Sync (orange): The slot mixer for all cells in a matrix is synchronized.)
- Master Filter Type:
- Click to select master filter type.
- LP6 is a less steep filter than LP12.
- Master filter Freq 1:
- Sets master filter start frequency.

Filter Curve View: Click-drag anywhere to change filter curve.
Mic Delay Scaler: Only available for Synchron Series ROOM-MIX Presets: Inserts runtime-delay on the ROOM-Mix slots. Default: 100 (equals 18 ms for Synchron Strings ROOM-Mix Presets).
MIDI Dump (also below Matrix List in BASIC View): Click MIDI DUMP and the current Matrix Selection, Cell Position, A/B Position, Sequencer Root Key and Scale Type of the selected Vienna Instruments PRO Interface will be dumped to the record-enabled track in your sequencer as MIDI information.
